Learning Assistant

Join Our Team at A.B. Paterson College!

A.B. Paterson College is seeking applications for the position of Learning Assistant for Term 2 of 2024. Learning Assistants are key figures in the support of students at A.B. Paterson College. Not only do they maintain effective communication between students and their classroom teachers, they also have an integral role in the development of a collaborative culture.

This is a Full-Time role for Term 2 only to be able to start ASAP.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Demonstrated highly effective organisational and administrative skills;
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks through to completion in a busy work environment;
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team;
  • Strong student focus and ability to liaise effectively with staff and parents;
  • Contribute as a member of a team for improvement of services to the stakeholders;
  • Certificate III Education Support (or higher);
  • First Aid and CPR Certificate (or willing to obtain); and
  • Current Blue Card (or QCT registration).

Applicants studying an Education Degree in their 2nd year or above will also be accepted.
