Physics Teacher - Secondary School

Join Our Team at A.B. Paterson College!

A.B. Paterson College is seeking a passionate, dedicated, and expert Senior Physics Teacher to inspire and challenge students through high-quality science instruction. This is a full-time, 12-month contract commencing in Term 1, 2026.

We are looking for an educator who brings subject mastery, professionalism, and enthusiasm to the classroom, and who is committed to fostering a deep understanding and appreciation of Physics in students. Experience teaching Year 11 and 12 Physics is strongly desirable, along with the ability to teach other Senior Science subjects such as Chemistry or Psychology.

Our Requirements:

• A qualified and experienced Physics Teacher, ideally with experience teaching Senior Physics and Chemistry (Years 11 and 12)
• A strong commitment to student wellbeing and academic excellence
• A collaborative team member who contributes positively to College life
• Someone who embraces innovation and continuous improvement in teaching practice
• A strong background and sound knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus
• Up-to-date skills in the use of IT and other digital classroom resources
• Up to date CPR and First Aid training or be willing to obtain
• Current Blue Card for Working with Children
