Foundation and Sport Bursaries

Scholarships and Bursaries at A.B. Paterson College

A.B. Paterson College offers a range of different Scholarships and Bursaries, allowing more students the opportunity to access an A.B. education.

Both Scholarships and Bursaries offer families a reduction in fees, however bursaries are means-tested and are places that are specifically set aside for applicants in financial need who would not otherwise have the funds to access an A.B. education. On the other hand, scholarships are awarded on merits specifically, academic, sporting and musical talents, irrespective of financial need.

Students who are not yet enrolled at the College are encouraged to apply for both scholarships and bursaries. Current students are welcome to apply for a scholarship based on their talents and merits.

A.B. Paterson College Foundation Bursary

The A.B. Paterson College Foundation provides a limited number of means-tested bursaries that are open to students considering a place at A.B. Paterson College.

All Bursaries are means-tested and, unlike a scholarship (which is solely merit-based), are set aside for applicants in financial need who would not otherwise have the funds to access an A.B. education.

Bursaries support full fee remission of College Fees for Years 7-12, with parents/guardians required to cover additional costs such as uniforms, enrolment fees, levys etc). Bursaries are subject to a yearly review process.

A.B. Paterson College welcomes applications from students with demonstrated financial need who believe that they have the dedication and motivation to thrive not only at A.B. Paterson College but to immerse themselves in our community.
