Year 12 Students Compete in State Economics Competition

Year 12 Economics students recently competed in the Queensland Economics Competition, organised by the University of Queensland and the Queensland Economics Teachers Association.

Students completed 30 challenging multiple-choice questions in 35 minutes, on the topics International Economics and Contemporary Macroeconomics. This was great practise for their impending Economics Mock and External Examinations.

Participants demonstrated focus and resilience throughout the competition. Results will be released in a few weeks' time.

This Year 12 Economics Class – humorously known as the ‘Eco Legends 2025’ - is to be commended for their very high Internal Assessment results achieved so far this year. We wish them luck as they work together to pursue academic excellence in their final exams.
