Last week, our spirited Under 12s NFL Flag team took to the field at the Queensland South Championships held on the beautiful Sunshine Coast. For many of our players, this was their first taste of competitive flag football.
Throughout the day, the team demonstrated outstanding sportsmanship, resilience, and teamwork. With each match, their confidence grew, and their determination never wavered. Several games came down to the wire, showcasing just how competitive and committed our players were. By the end of the carnival, the team proudly secured ninth place overall - a fantastic achievement for such a fresh squad.
A huge thank you goes to the coach, Mr Lee, whose dedication in the lead-up to the event and tireless support on the day made all the difference. His guidance helped shape not only the players’ skills but also their positive attitude and team spirit.
We would also like to extend our gratitude to TFI Connect Dentistry, who generously provided personalised mouthguards for our students. Their support ensured our players could compete safely and confidently, and we truly appreciate their contribution to our school community.
