Titans Schools Netball Competition

Our Open A and Open B Netball teams took to the courts at Carrara Stadium for the Titans Schools Netball Competition last week, showcasing incredible skill, determination, and team spirit.

The Open A girls had an outstanding day, finishing as minor premiers after going undefeated throughout the rounds. Their consistent performance highlighted their strength and cohesion on the court. However, in a thrilling grand final, the Robina team fired back with intensity, edging out our Brumbies by just 6 goals. Despite the narrow loss, the girls displayed great resilience and sportsmanship, making the whole campaign something to be proud of.

Meanwhile, our Open B team faced some tough matches against strong competition but kept their heads high. They managed an impressive draw against Loganlea and closed out their day with a solid victory over Brisbane Catholic College. This competition provided invaluable experience and player development opportunities, as our girls challenged themselves against teams beyond the usual APS circuit.

For our Year 12 players, this event was particularly special — one of their last chances to represent the school together on the netball court. The day was filled with memorable moments and excitement, marking a fitting milestone in their school netball journey.

A huge congratulations to all our players for their dedication and for proudly representing our school. Here’s to continued success on and off the court!
