Congratulations to our A.B. Paterson College swimmers who have just completed seven days of racing in Brisbane at the 2025 National Age Championships.
The National Age Championships is the highest level of domestic racing for any junior swimmer in Australia.
Mackenzie Crocker had an incredible meet, claiming eight out of eight personal best times, six top ten finishes and one Bronze Medal in the 400m Individual Medley. Combining all of Mackenzie’s heats and final swims, he totalled 5km or racing, not including warm-ups and swim downs!
Well done to Zoe Ball who raced four events. Zoe finished 11th in both the 400m Freestyle and the 800m freestyle.
Peter Ketchell also competed in 16-18 4x50m Medley Relay.
Our national swimmers will now enjoy some well-deserved down-time. The next major target in the competition calendar is the Queensland State Short Course Championships in August.
