Visual Art Students Shine at the Gold Coast Show
Congratulations to our talented Visual Art students who achieved outstanding success at the recent Gold Coast Show, earning awards across a range of artistic categories.
A special congratulations to Nina Grabczyk, who was awarded 1st Place in the Painting (Oil/Acrylic) 12-14 Years category for her impressive artwork Fallen. Nina's work demonstrated exceptional technical skill and artistic expression, making it a standout entry in a highly competitive field.
We also celebrate Charlotte Beattie, who achieved 1st Place in the Graphic Design Art category (13-18 Years) for her striking work Genesis. Charlotte's creativity, design expertise, and strong visual communication were recognised with the competition's highest honour.
Our students also received several commendations for their outstanding artistic achievements:
- Emma Styles received a Highly Commended award in the Ceramic section for her artwork The Fear that Holds Me.
- Alishbar Mansur achieved both 3rd Place and Highly Commended recognition in the Painting (Oil/Acrylic) 13-18 Years category for Ship in a Stormy Night.
- Coco O/Malley received a Highly Commended award in the Portrait section for her artwork Ruby.
These results reflect the wonderful creativity and artistic excellence of our Visual Art students. We are incredibly proud of their achievements and the manner in which they represented the College within the wider Gold Coast arts community.
