Twelve of our A.B. Brumby athletes participated in the State Athletics Championships over the weekend, and what a success!
Our student's dedication and hard work during training sessions this year have truly paid off, as they walked away with an array of medals and personal best achievements.
Congratulations to all our Brumbies who competed and thank you to our wonderful coaches!
To those moving on to the National Championships next month, we wish you the best of luck in your preparation.
This week, Year 2 students have culminated their term learning about Japanese food in an authentic rice ball cooking activity.
With big smiles on their faces and with hands filled with rice, students spent a fun and “oishii” (yummy) lesson time.
Interactions with kind and helpful parent volunteers, Mrs Whiteley, Mrs Harvey and Mrs Payling, also added another valuable experience to the activity.

Congratulations to Samantha Smithers (Year 11) for her outstanding performance and leadership as Captain of the 16-19 Girls South Coast Cricket Team at the School Sport Queensland State Carnival in Ipswich!
Her dedication and talent were evident throughout the tournament, leading her team to victory in the grand final with an exceptional catch that secured the first ever championship win for South Coast in that age division.
Samantha was named in the Queensland Representative Girls Cricket team to compete in Mackay later this year to take on NSW over a week of cricket. This is an exciting opportunity that highlights Samantha’s continued commitment to the sport.
We wish you the best of luck in Mackay!
