Visual Art students Succeed in Art Awards

Congratulations to the following Art students who have achieved outstanding success at the Gold Coast Show Art Competition and The Doyles Art Awards this year. 

Both competitions attract submissions from highly talented artists across a broad range of ages and disciplines, providing young artists with an invaluable opportunity to have their work professionally exhibited and judged. Recognition in these events is a significant achievement and reflects not only artistic talent, but also creativity, dedication and countless hours of work refining their skills. 

Award Recipients: 

  • Charlotte Beattie (Year 10) Gold Coast Show: 1st Place Ages 13-18 Graphic Design Art 
  • Chloe Fu (Year 8) Doyles finalist: 3rd Place 
  • Nina Grabczyk (Year 8) Gold Coast Show: 1st Place Ages 12-14 Painting Oil/Acrylic 
  • Alishbah Mansur (Year 11) Gold Coast Show: Best Youth Art Ages 15-18 3rd Place 
  • Coco O'Malley (Year 10) Gold Coast Show: Highly Commended Painting Portraiture 
  • Emma Styles (Year 11) Gold Coast Show: Highly Commended Ceramics 

We would also like to acknowledge the following talented students whose artworks were selected for exhibition across The Doyles and the Gold Coast Show: Grace Chaung (Year 7), Hajirah Deen (Year 11), Charlie Kember (Year 8), Khloe Osborne (Year 8) and Olive Pullin (Year 10).
