Legal Studies Students Excel at Griffith Legal Moot Competition
Our Legal Studies students recently had the exciting opportunity to compete in the Griffith Legal Moot Competition, held across both the Gold Coast and Nathan campuses.
The competition gave students the chance to step into the role of Barristers and Solicitors, presenting complex legal arguments in a formal moot court setting. Throughout the competition, our students demonstrated exceptional dedication to their studies, strong teamwork, and impressive legal sophistication in how they prepared and presented their arguments.
Their hard work and commitment were reflected in outstanding results. Our students won the Gold Coast competition and placed second at the Nathan campus, competing against teams from across Queensland, including schools travelling from as far as Cairns. Adding to this success, two of our students tied for first place for Best Speaker at the Gold Coast campus, highlighting the strength of their advocacy, preparation and confidence.
This is a wonderful achievement and a testament to the students’ commitment, teamwork and passion for Legal Studies. Congratulations to all students who represented the College with excellence.
