Interhouse Athletics Carnivals

Jun 19, 2026 1:56 PM

Throughout Week 8 of Term 2, the Inter-House Athletics Carnivals took place. Despite some wet conditions, it was fantastic to see all staff and students push through and contribute to highly successful events.

The carnivals were held at the Gold Coast Performance Centre from the 10th to the 12th of June. It was a great three days, with many students committed to the athletics program throughout the year having the opportunity to showcase their potential and ability. There were also plenty of opportunities for mass participation, allowing all students to achieve their personal bests.

It was great to see strong house spirit on display, and congratulations to Lawson House, who took out the Spirit Trophy.

Please see below a summary of the overall carnival results:

  • Lawson House: Juniors 3rd  – Seniors 1st  – Overall Place 1st
  • Dennis House: Juniors 2nd  – Seniors 3rd  – Overall Place 2nd
  • Mackellar House: Juniors 1st  – Seniors 4th  – Overall Place 3rd
  • Wright House: Juniors 4th – Seniors 2nd – Overall Place 4th
