Brumbies Shine at State Athletics Championships
Congratulations to the 14 Brumbies who competed at the 129th Queensland Athletics Championships last weekend. It has been fantastic to see our representatives grow at the state level, with many athletes achieving personal bests and podium finishes against the best in the state.

Following these stellar performances, we are proud to announce that several students have qualified for the National Championships to be held in Brisbane this April. This is a massive achievement and a testament to their hard work and dedication throughout the season.
Qualified for Nationals:
- Ruby Hasted – Javelin (1st Place) and Hammer Throw (2nd Place)
- Amber Menardo – Triple Jump (2nd Place)
- Caitlin Papworth – Hammer Throw (1st Place)
- Ewan Walker – Hammer Throw (2nd Place)
- Hudson Schultz – Hammer Throw (3rd Place)
- Sigrid Perez – Hurdles
We wish them all the best with their final preparations as they are getting ready to represent us on the national stage!
