Naming our new Sports, Arts and Technology Centre
In 2027, the College will open a striking new three-storey building, a vibrant hub for student creativity and high performance. The precinct will also house our Activities Faculty, alongside an elite strength and conditioning facility, medical and recovery zones, and future-focused learning spaces for music, drama, visual arts, multimedia and design.
A place where students experiment, perform, sketch, sculpt, code and compose - where the next generation of Australian storytellers, artists, designers and performers find their stride.

A new chapter - and we invite you to help write it.
Just as our founders looked to the great voices of Australia when naming our Houses and buildings, we now turn to you - our students, parents, staff, Old Collegians and wider community - to help name this new home of creativity.
What we are looking for
We invite you to nominate a prominent Australian, place, symbol, or cultural reference whose legacy, achievements, or significance could inspire future generations of A.B. Paterson College students. We ask that nominations:
How to submit your nomination
Please submit your nomination via the form below. Entries close Friday 13 November. A panel of staff, and student representatives will shortlist nominations for consideration by the College Board, and the chosen name will be announced ahead the building's official opening.
We look forward to reading your nominations - and to opening a new chapter in our College’s proud Australian story.
A.B. Paterson College acknowledges the Kombumerri People as Traditional Custodians of the land, sea, waterways, and skies in which we learn and play. We also pay our respects to elders, past, present, and emerging, and recognise their continuing connection to country and ways of learning.
