Congratulations to Year 9 student, Ekaterina (Katya) Gratchev who has been crowned joint Australian Junior Chess Champion, after tying for first place in the Under 14 Girls Division at Southport during the holidays.
Katya is now eligible to represent Australia in the World Youth Chess competition in Mamaia, Romania in September.
