Startling results in Art Awards
A.B. Paterson College has scooped the pool in the Yr 12 category of the QLD Youth Arts Awards with 3 medallions (the highest honour) from our 3 entries. Well done Amy Reilly, Brittany Muscat and Chloe Dawson. Presentations will be held at John Paul College at 7pm on Friday, Sept 5.
Queensland State Da Vinci Decathlon
A.B Paterson College's Year 8 Da Vinci Decathlon team placed 3rd in the State Competition held at the College on July 16. Congratulations to all involved.
Gym star
Well done to Year 5 student Jaymie Douglas, who achieved first place on the Beam in the Level 2 WAG competition in Beaudesert last weekend.
Debating team success
The College has achieved success in debating with Year 8 (runners-up), Year 9 (runners-up) and Year 12 (winners) featuring in the Gold Coast Debating grand finals.
Congratulations Cassie!
Congratulations to Year 12 student Cassie Godbold for her recent performance at the Gold Coast Eisteddfod where she was awarded Overall Most Outstanding Soloist for String, Brass and Woodwind.
Contributions are being sought for the College's literary magazine 'Evoke' from all students from Prep to Year 12. Poems, short stories, journal entries and articles are all considered by the editing team for publication. Please submit your work to your English teacher, or Ms Cunningham.
